Post ideas

Everything else in this documentation is about replies — RedBuster joining a conversation someone else started. /dashboard/post-ideas is different: it's original Reddit posts, drafted for your tracked subreddits, that start a conversation instead of joining one.

Where ideas come from

RedBuster drafts one original post idea per tracked subreddit automatically, on a long cooldown (about once a week per subreddit) — far more conservative than how often it scans for reply opportunities. Most subreddits are much stricter about how often the same account submits original content than they are about replies buried in someone else's thread, so this stays deliberately infrequent.

Each draft is written to match what that specific community's own recent threads actually look like — a lesson learned, a real experience, an honest breakdown of a problem — not an ad with a subreddit slapped on it. Your product gets mentioned at most once, only where it naturally fits.

Reviewing an idea

Pending post ideas work exactly like the approval queue:

• Edit — rewrite the title or body before it goes anywhere
• Discard — RedBuster won't post that idea
• Publish — approves it for posting from the managed account pool

After you approve one

Once approved, a post idea moves off this page — from here on, Tracking is where you paste the live link once it's posted and watch its score and comment count.
