Compliance

RedBuster is built around one rule: growth that puts your own account at risk isn't growth worth having. Nothing here runs through a Reddit account tied to your brand.

What happens when RedBuster finds a thread

  1. New thread found — a post or comment in one of your tracked subreddits matches.
  2. Subreddit rules checked — RedBuster reads that community's posted rules on self-promotion and disclosure, and flags threads where a direct pitch wouldn't be welcome.
  3. Matched to a pooled account — a draft is prepared for posting from one of RedBuster's managed accounts, not yours.
  4. Sent to your approval queue — you make the final call.

The same review-first principle applies to original post ideas, just on a much longer per-subreddit cooldown — most communities are far stricter about how often an account submits original content than they are about replies.

The principles behind that

  • Human approval by default. Auto-post is opt-in, per subreddit — out of the box, nothing goes live without you. See Approval queue.
  • Reads the room first. Threads where a pitch would break a subreddit's self-promotion rules get flagged instead of drafted blind.
  • Paced like a real member. Activity limits per account keep every profile's posting cadence inside normal, human ranges.
  • No duplicate content. Every reply is written for its specific thread — the same pitch never gets reposted verbatim.

The account pool

Every post and comment goes out from one of RedBuster's 1,000+ managed Reddit accounts — built and matured over time, with real history and karma, never a fresh throwaway. Karma, age, and standing are tracked across the whole pool, and any account that dips below RedBuster's bar gets retired and replaced. If an account in the pool is ever flagged, it's rotated out — your brand's standing on Reddit is never on the line, because there's no account of yours to ban in the first place.
